KOREAN COOKING STUDIO: Let's Yori is the first cooking studio established in Singapore that focuses on Korean cuisine - designed to be a welcoming space for people from all walks of life to meet and cook at a common table where everyone bonds over stories behind ingenious food. Spanning 4,000 square foot, our cooking studio is designed for friends, families and strangers to meet and cook at a common table, where ingenious food encounters and new conversation begin. JOB SUMMARY/ JOB OVERVIEW: As a Cooking Instructor you are responsible for demonstrating the proper techniques to prepare food, showing students how to use kitchen equipment, and teaching a variety of recipes. You will be teaching students in group classes or single private sessions. You would need to ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Teach and conduct cooking classes with patience and professionalism Execute and supervise the day to day operations of the cooking studio Maintain the cleanliness of the studio thus providing a positive learning environment Be part of the team to prepare lesson plan for cooking classes To be proactive in keeping food costs within the allocated budget and seek improvements to reduce food wastes Be punctual and well prepared with required ingredients and tools before the class begins Any other assigned ad-hoc duties and operations duties.
