Responsibilities

  • You will be a key member of the team, involved in delivering the medium and long-term maintenance strategy for the factory, whilst supporting the short-term results.

  • Essential
  • You will have a NVQ L3 in Engineering and Post Apprenticeship skill level
  • Knowledge and proven experience working with process equipment ideally within a food manufacturing environment
  • An excellent communicator able to work well as part of a team
  • Instrumentation and Control Skills
  • Mechanical Skills (Pump, conveyor and valve repairs)
  • You will have had previous experience report writing, conducting data analysis and mechanical calculation experience
  • You will be a decision maker - Makes and implements technical decisions which can impact the plan for the week.
  • You will be a coach to the team - using WCM/TPM tools to support other team members and deliver higher results for the line.
  • You will be leading contractor activities following safety and quality rules, so you need previous experience in contractor management.
  • You will be able to self-manage your workload and priorities linked to the factory and Unilever priorities.
  • Desirable
  • Electrical Skills and Diagnostic Technician with Programme Logic Control qualifications (Siemens S5/Siemens S7/TIA Portal/ PCS7).
  • Knowledge about process safety, machinery safety and PSSR
  • SAP experience
  • Confined Space trained (Entry / Permit issuing)
  • Vibration Analysis Experience
