Frontend / Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern, scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
• Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces for monitoring IoT devices and telemetry data
• Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, including writing queries, handling pagination, caching, and error management
• Collaborate with backend and cloud teams to ensure seamless data flow and system integration
• Develop server-side utilities and services using Node.js, Go, or Python
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) to support dashboards and reporting tools
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and best practices
• Maintain and improve component libraries, API documentation, and development guidelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• What you bring
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong experience with React and modern web development frameworks
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Python
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Experience working with IoT systems, telemetry, or real-time data is a plus
• Experience in a start-up or scaling environment is an advantage

As a Frontend / Fullstack Engineer in the Lyten BESS team, you will design and build modern web applications that interact with IoT devices, telemetry data, and cloud-based systems. You will play a key role in developing intuitive user interfaces that allow operators to monitor, analyze, and manage energy storage systems in real time.
