About the role

Fivetran's monetization platform is growing in complexity, spanning multiple products, usage-based pricing, billing and metering systems, entitlements, subscriptions, and evolving go-to-market motions. Delivering a seamless, transparent, and trustworthy monetization experience is critical to both customer trust and long-term business growth. We're looking for a Product Manager to own key areas of Fivetran's monetization platform, with a focus on billing, metering, entitlements, and subscription lifecycle management. This role sits at the intersection of product, platform, pricing strategy, and customer experience. You'll partner closely with your fellow teammates on Product, Engineering, Design, Revenue Operations, and strategic pricing leaders to define and execute the roadmap for how usage is measured, billed, packaged, and surfaced to customers. You'll help ensure that pricing innovations can be implemented reliably and scalably while maintaining a high-quality customer experience across all monetization touchpoints. This is an ideal role for a PM who enjoys complex systems, operational rigor, and solving customer-facing problems at scale. This is a full-time position based out of our Novi Sad office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and prioritization for core monetization platform capabilities, including billing, metering, entitlements, subscriptions, invoicing, and usage reporting
  • Partner closely with Engineering to deeply understand Fivetran's billing and metering architecture, data flows, and operational dependencies - using that knowledge to drive scalable platform improvements
  • Translate pricing and packaging strategies into clear product requirements and platform capabilities, including usage-based pricing models, contract terms, credits, tiering, and product entitlements
  • Define and drive the product strategy for customer-facing monetization experiences, including subscription management, billing transparency, usage visibility, and purchasing flows
  • Collaborate with strategic pricing PMs and other product leaders to ensure monetization platform investments support broader company growth and revenue goals
  • Define success metrics and operational KPIs for billing and monetization systems, using data to identify friction, improve reliability, and optimize customer outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Finance, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Customer Success teams
  • Support pricing and packaging launches by owning the monetization implementation workstream end-to-end
  • Identify and resolve billing edge cases, operational gaps, and customer pain points to improve trust and reduce escalations
  • Bring an AI-first mindset to product development, leveraging AI tools and workflows to move faster, improve decision-making, and uncover insights
  • Skills We're Looking For
  • 4-7 years of Product Management experience, ideally in platform, monetization, billing, payments, pricing, or infrastructure domains
  • Experience working on usage-based or SaaS monetization systems, including billing, metering, subscriptions, entitlements, invoicing, or pricing infrastructure
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to navigate complex technical and operational workflows
  • Proven track record driving cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution in ambiguous environments
  • Analytical and metrics-driven, with experience defining KPIs and using data to prioritize investments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones
