Specification Sales Engineer - Norway

Responsibilities

• Market & Customer Engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with key specifying entities across Norway
• Identify early-stage projects and influence specifications toward Eaton solutions
• Conduct discovery meetings, customer calls, and regular follow-ups
• Represent Eaton at relevant Norwegian industry events and networks
• Opportunity & Pipeline Management
• Qualify leads and manage a structured pipeline
• Prepare initial concepts, support bid/no-bid decisions, and track project outcomes
• Monitor projects not specified by Eaton and recommend improvement actions
• Internal Collaboration
• Coordinate project details with Project Sales Engineers, back-office, and PM teams
• Ensure smooth handover of opportunities and alignment across stakeholders
• Process & Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to standardizing and optimizing specification processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and support digital tool adoption
• Drive continuous improvement in specification effectiveness and customer engagement

Requirements

• Professional Technician, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant education .
• 2-5 years of experience in C&I building projects , preferably electrical design or project management for larger installations, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Analytical thinking and numerical proficiency
• Proactive mindset with accountability and results orientation
• Professional handling of objections and customer challenges
• Relationship building and effective stakeholder management
• Adaptability, resilience, and strong time-management skills
