Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections against engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.

- Escalate product quality concerns and risks in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard work development.
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements and company procedures.
- REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or a similar high-technology environment.
- Experience performing final inspection, receiving inspection, or both.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, assembly documentation, and bills of material.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems.
- Understanding of GD&T principles and inspection methods.
- Experience using precision measurement equipment and inspection tools.
- Experience inspecting electronic assemblies, PCBAs, or electromechanical products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and make sound inspection decisions.

This position serves as a critical quality control point within the manufacturing process by preventing nonconforming material from progressing through production or being released to customers. The Quality Technician verifies product configuration, traceability, documentation, and workmanship while maintaining accurate quality records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role supports quality operations at both Echodyne facilities. Each day begins at the Kirkland site performing final inspection and product release activities before transitioning to the Woodinville site to support Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA), receiving inspection, and supplier material verification activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently across multiple product lines while collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
