Specialist, PEI PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating, through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Specialist, PEI to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. The Pressure Equipment Inspector provides technical assurance for their assigned units by working closely with operations, maintenance, and support engineers. They support integration of Shared Stewardship of Assets for Pressure Equipment Integrity across entire organization and help others in the organization understand their role in maintaining equipment integrity as related to Pressure Equipment Inspection and proper design and maintenance of pressure equipment. Job Responsibilities May Include: Performing visual inspections Analyzing inspection findings, developing recommendations, and preparing inspection reports Using inspection database (Inspection Management System (IMS)) to determine inspection schedules and equipment/piping remaining life per code requirements Developing inspection scopes of equipment and piping for onstream inspections and turnaround activities Maintaining PEI record keeping and documentation Supporting the operating and maintenance departments to improve unit reliability by: reviewing plant change activities reviewing temporary facilities/repairs performing audits Position Specific Requirements: Available in off hours and days to respond to refinery issues or emergencies, including on-call emergency response functions.
