Our massive sync licensing catalog features over 200,000 unique tracks, with 900+ new albums released annually across every genre. Beyond our catalog, we house state-of-the-art recording studios in Los Angeles where we compose and produce custom music-for-picture for a premier client base spanning TV, film, streaming, advertising, and news. Your role: As a full-time Producer within WCPM's lean, high-energy production team, you will operate out of our state-of-the-art Hollywood studios and report to the US Head of Production. You will uphold our elite creative standards by overseeing freelance composers and producers to ensure world-class music and sound design. By blending creative intuition with data-driven insights and emerging trends, you will help shape the future of our catalog. Furthermore, you will be a key driver in expanding WCPM's custom music client base across the industry. Here you'll get to: You will help spearhead the expansion of our custom music division which includes active participation in client presentations and pitches and coordinating growth strategies with our licensing, marketing and executive teams; - You will actively participate in creative decisions with regard to WCPM's music projects including bringing fresh ideas and suggestions to the table and offering feedback on music submissions; - You will serve as a lead creative liaison between WCPM and external production partners, advocating for the musical vision while balancing budgetary and schedule constraints; - You will serve as a primary creative bridge to the wider Warner Chappell Music (WCM) ecosystem, proactively building relationships with frontline A&R and sync teams, songwriters, and producers. You will identify opportunities to integrate WCM's world-class talent into WCPM library projects and custom music-for-picture assignments, ensuring a seamless flow of talent and repertoire across the global enterprise. - You will act as executive producer recommending and overseeing appropriate freelance composers, songwriters and producers for both library and custom music while maintaining WCPM's consistently high standards; - You will use your talent network for sourcing composers, musicians, vocalists, music editors, orchestrators, arrangers, etc. for various custom and library projects as needed; - As executive producer, you will provide creative briefs, detailed and timely feedback, review of demos and mixes, ideas for cover art and will work with the production team to ensure quality control prior to delivery; - You will work closely with our creative, legal, engineering, accounting and licensing teams to ensure projects are managed professionally and effectively with timely and accurate delivery; - You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, potential clients, and composers to ensure their needs are being fully supported and to keep WCPM top of mind; - You will provide ongoing suggestions and ideas for continual streamlining of efficiencies including production workflow, archiving, delivery formats and the like. About you: You have proven experience composing to picture whether for tv, advertising and/or film; - Experience in developing 'Sonic Identities' for series and brands, ensuring a cohesive musical language across an entire season or franchise. - Proven ability to interpret abstract creative direction from showrunners and directors, translating narrative themes and character arcs into actionable musical briefs. - Extensive experience navigating the post-production lifecycle, including a deep understanding of temp-score replacement, stems for dubbing stages, and the high-pressure turnaround times typical of episodic television. - You have extensive experience working with and/or overseeing composers and producers; - You have strong interpersonal skills and experience working with and pitching to clients including conducting creative meetings and overseeing recording sessions to picture with clients in attendance; - You have demonstrated high aesthetic and technical standards
