Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of an electrical entrance examination.
• 3-5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience , including preventative and routine maintenance.
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics and the ability to use drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments.
• Intermediate knowledge of:
• AC/DC motor theory
• PLC troubleshooting
• Electrical drives
• Industrial electrical controls
• NFPA 70E safety practices
• High-voltage electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience using common electrical maintenance hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, production equipment, and automated controls that support daily operations. Successful candidates will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with industrial equipment, and the ability to maintain production systems safely and efficiently.
