About the role and what you'll be doing: As a Data Center Hardware Technician at Ensono, you will apply your knowledge of server hardware and data center operations to complete a wide range of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks that support our clients' mission-critical infrastructure. Following established procedures and best practices, you'll work hands-on with physical hardware in data center environments, conveying technical information with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations. This role provides an opportunity to develop your skills in enterprise data center operations while contributing to solutions that enable clients to Do Great Things. Night Shift, 6pm - 2am or 8pm - 4am Shift: Monday - Friday The schedule will rotate week 1, 2 or 2,1 depending on which night shift the candidate falls on. Key responsibilities include: Install, configure, and decommission servers, storage systems, and network equipment in data center environments Follow established procedures to complete rack and stack operations, cable management, and hardware labeling Apply troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware failures and performance issues Complete routine hardware maintenance tasks including firmware updates, component replacements, and system health checks Support data center operations by monitoring environmental conditions and responding to alerts Convey technical information clearly with team members, clients, and vendors during hardware-related activities Maintain accurate documentation of hardware inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities Follow safety protocols and data center security procedures at all times We want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono.
