Responsibilities
- Training & Development:
- Collaborate with plant leadership to create and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with facility goals.
- Conduct needs analysis and define training requirements in partnership with department leaders.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, job-specific training, leadership development, and changes in policies or technology.
- Partner with internal and external trainers, Shaw Learning Academy, and divisional resources for program implementation.

- Environmental Health & Safety (EHS):
- Develop and manage plant-specific EHS programs in accordance with Shaw Management System (SMS), OSHA, and SAFE guidelines.
- Lead EHS audits and ensure all corrective actions are documented and completed.
- Promote a safety-first culture that encourages associate involvement and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS-related training; serve as a liaison with Risk Management and DEHS teams.
- Lead incident investigations, maintain accurate reporting in Cority, and oversee CAPA follow-up.
- Serve as site administrator for SDS systems, chemical approval processes, and security protocols.
- Supervise EHS Technicians and manage facility security measures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required (four-year degree preferred for EHS scope)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of team management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Cority, and Workday
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work various shifts and weekends as needed
- Travel to other facilities as necessary
- Preferred:
- Training program development experience
- EHS or safety certification(s)
- Experience in adult learning or instructional design
