Job Scope As a Systems Specialist, you will be providing support in the following areas: a) Administration and maintenance of the following: - Backup System, CA-1 - z/OS operating system and JCL (Job Control Language) - Tape management systems and automated tape libraries - Backup hardware (Data domain/ECS/ Hitachi CGX/Tape library) b) Carrying-out security patching, hardening, upgrade of the abovementioned software as and when required c) Carrying-out installation and configuration of the abovementioned backup software d) Monitor system performance and capacity planning for backup storage requirements e) Work with hardware and software vendor to resolve technical issue f) Review logs from the abovementioned hardware and software g) Participate in technical exercises as and when required.
