The Senior Security Supervisor and Driver will be accountable for providing an exceptional guest experience as it relates to event security. This role will focus on partnering within Venues, and across functions, to get work done through others in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This role will also focus on creating a safe and secure environment overseeing the Security Officer staff, driving Sphere Executives, guests, and family members, and leading the training and development of all officers and supervisors within Threat Management. The Senior Security Supervisor will report to the Sphere Event Security Manager. What will you do? Senior Field Training Supervisor Role: Accountable for daily supervision and leadership of building and event security officers and supervisors. Responsible for various administrative items such as scheduling, incident reports, daily reports, and documentation logs. Addresses guests' concerns, feedback and suggestions in a timely and efficient manner. May be tasked with managing or supporting additional programs that facilitate security operations such as equipment inventory, conducting security advances and walkthroughs for visiting VIPs, improving processes, completing longer projects, and representing security leadership to other internal teams. Perform other security duties as assigned to support the Threat Management Division. Supervision of building and event security officers and supervisors. Lead continuous education and development for all security team members. Responsible for the onboarding of new officers through the department onboarding curriculum. Assess, train, evaluate, and coach front line colleagues utilizing previous experience and company provided programs. Trainers will conduct "on the job" training shifts throughout a weeklong span depending on event schedule and tracking of personnel trained. Assistance with other company projects, initiatives, and training. (i.e. Workforce updates, Policy acknowledgements and other company assigned learning). Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site. Driver Role: Provides logistical support and transportation of Executives, guests, and family members Execute proactive measures to ensure the safety of the client, i.e. advance work, research, collection of applicable information. Ability to check traffic, road conditions and plan alternate routes to ensure an on-time arrival. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle (interior and exterior). Maintains a travel log and any additional billing information/notes as needed. Responsible for various administration items such as scheduling, invoices, incident reports, daily reports, and documentation logs. Perform other general security duties as needed within the Driver role to support the Threat Management division What do you need to succeed? The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' supervisory experience in the security, law enforcement, or military field, and preferably have knowledge of events, sports, theatre operations, within an entertainment venue. The ideal candidate will be extremely familiar with the local area. Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational sensitivity is essential. Able to schedule and manage travel arrangements and anticipate all contingencies. Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. Excellent communication skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders, and engage with all levels in the organization Demonstrated experience completing reports and documenting staff performance is essential Ability to engage and develop collaborative relationships and influence within team and across functions, even without direct reporting relationship, adept at maintaining a positive, open, approachable, and professional relationship with a diverse group Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring and/or developing staff to perform at high levels and holding team accountable for achieving business goals and objectives.
