MILITARY GRADES: E4 through E7 OR O1 through O2 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: **AS LISTED IN REMARKS** SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels. Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of automated systems across multiple DOD, Federal, and state agencies. Knowledge of investigation and re-investigation processes to initiate and conduct follow-up in the approved automated system(s). Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career. Skill in oral and written communication sufficient to write reports, conduct presentations, and/or clearly communicate personnel security processes, regulations, or training. Must have at least 12 months of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07). If you meet the requirements listed below, you will need to submit a signed Exception to Policy (ETP) memorandum with your application to be considered for the position. If you are a Tenure 0 Temporary employee (your position has a not-to-exceed date), you do not need an ETP memo. If you became a new employee through a USAJobs announcement within the last 36 months, you will need an ETP memo. If you received a promotion, reassignment, or grade reduction through a USAJobs announcement within the last 36 months, you will need an ETP memo. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.
