About the role
You will serve as a ACCOUNTANT in the Comptroller Group, Accounting Dept, Gen Ledger Dic of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DA-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; 2) Applying knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to accounting and financial guidelines; 3) Interpreting the data of financial, economic and/or accounting analysis to prepare for decision-making; 4) Inputs and extracts data and creates recurring reports to maintain financial integrity; 5) Preparing and/or queries financial statements and/or reports to meet the requirements as specified in the DoD FMR; 6) Extracting records and balances basic information from routine or recurring reports using standardized procedures; 7) Applying general analytical and evaluation techniques to review accounting data in line with all accounting principles.
