Our Aarhus site plays a key role within the Poultry division, where engineering expertise meets real‑world food processing challenges. 🔍 About the Role As our new Mechanical Engineer you will, together with your colleagues, be focusing on our Aarhus portfolio that includes portion cutters, robots and batching equipment. In your daily work you will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of about 12 members based in Aarhus and Germany. As a Mechanical Engineer you can use all your creativity to create innovative design solutions that will improve our equipment in performance, robustness and cost. If you're driven by technology, innovation, and making a global impact, we want to hear from you! 🧠 Key Responsibilities Your daily to-do list will look like this: Be responsible for maintaining and sustaining a group of equipment, driving the necessary design updates to continuously improve that equipment. Handling the daily business with adjusting equipment to new needs, while developing new platforms to stand on in the future. In cooperation with a multidisciplinary project team, efficiently configure, design and develop all mechanical aspects of solutions we deliver to our customers. This includes creating bills of materials, assemblies, components, drawings and documentation as required in our 3D CAD and PDM system according to the Product Development Process (PDP). Paying particular attention to the implementation of the functional, hygienic and cleaning aspects, reliability, safety, production technologies and cost price. 💼 What you'll bring Hold a degree within engineering such as mechanical, mechatronics or other technical fields Have +2 years of experience in the engineering of technical systems from a similar industry, preferably the food industry Experience with additive manufacturing, FEA and CFD. Familiar with robotics like 6-aksis, delta and SCARA robots. Are familiar with CAD (we use SolidWorks) and PDM/PLM tools Have good English skills, both written and verbal. Speaking Danish is an advantage 🛠️ What kind of person are you?
