As a Test Rigs Design Sub-Section Manager, you will lead a team responsible for designing complex mechanical systems that enable engine, module, and component testing across both Civil and Military programs. The team is also responsible for the design of Naval Propulsion Modules and Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) supporting military engines Job Description Essential responsibilities Lead and develop a large team, fostering engagement, performance, and accountability Own the execution of Test Rigs, Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), and Naval Propulsion Module design activities, ensuring delivery within schedule and time constraints while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders Attract, develop, and retain top talent to build a strong and capable organization Strengthen functional expertise within the team and promote continuous professional growth Guide teams in identifying innovative and practical solutions to complex challenges Apply advanced engineering methods and sound technical judgment to achieve high-quality outcomes Collaborate closely with adjacent functions to resolve issues and support program objectives Assess the quality and reliability of information, challenging inconsistencies and conflicting data to enable robust analysis Leverage a broad network of internal and external resources beyond the immediate function to support informed decision-making Communicate complex topics clearly and influence stakeholders, primarily internally, to gain alignment and drive alternative perspectives when needed Qualification/Requirements Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Demonstrated experience in mechanical design Strong sense of technical ownership and accountability, with a customer-focused mindset Proficiency in English, both written and spoken Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skill Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Established project management skills
