EHS Regional Project Manager

Requirements

• Master's degree (MS) or bachelor's of science (BS) degree in Occupational Health and Safety or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety or other qualification that meets the requirements of the local ACT certification in accordance with Portugal regulations.
• Holds the professional certificate from ACT for Senior Occupational Safety Technician
• A minimum of 2 year of experience in an OHS team,
• Experience in conducting health and safety training,
• High level of both Portuguese and English language capabilities (reading, writing and verbal communication)
• Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence and engage coworkers and encourage positive safety outcomes across diverse business units.
• Good technological skills and capable of learning new tools, systems, and software. Familiarity with AI tools, Agile, or Lean methodologies to streamline status reporting and project validation,
• Highly organized and proactive management style with the ability to lead complex projects in a hybrid work model.
• Proficient in using basic office software such as PPT, Excel, Word,
• Project management experience,
• Fire protection inspection experience,
• ISO 14K and 45K internal auditor,
• Experience in organizing health and safety awareness events;
• Experience supporting occupational health and safety activities in countries other than Portugal is an advantage.
