  • Principal Accountabilities
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of Memorial Hermann Medical Group and MHMD sites to assist with candidate inquiries.
  • Works with the Clinical Departments and CMO Office to profile positions and develop physician job descriptions.
  • Train, manage and provide updates during the onboarding process but not limited to updates on the weekly Due Diligence onboarding call.
  • Facilitate New Provider Orientation for PCMH, UC, Occ Med and all other MHMG Providers.
  • Manage all requests for supplemental provider coverage as well as Locum requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between the supplemental pool and clinic practice managers to help mitigate issues and concerns.
  • Ensure that time is entered correctly by reviewing and managing all payroll corrections, cost centers edits, full time urgent care quarterly pay, extra shift pay and special pay.
  • Send daily open shift correspondence to all supplemental providers, practice managers and leaders.
  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement a talent acquisition sourcing plan for existing vacancies and strategic provider growth using creative and innovative approaches.
  • Provides high-level of sourcing, networking, and recruiting for provider talent pools using social media, job boards, networks, associations, forums, alumni, current and former employees, and others to provide qualified and aligned provider candidates.
  • Continuously monitors the industry, regional and local market conditions and their impact on provider recruiting. Provider insightful information to the team and others that help Memorial Hermann stay competitive and attract top provider talent.
  • Establishes, maintains, monitors, and reports key metrics to ensure effectiveness of the sourcing process.
  • Assists in the recruitment and selection process including posting jobs, screening candidates and interview support.
  • Helps identify and recommend new recruitment tools and processes to ensure a consistent and/or enhanced provider candidate experience.
  • Consistently meets established metrics for productivity, client satisfaction and quality.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.

Job Summary The Physician Candidate Generator is responsible for and coordinates various aspects of Physician and Advance Practice Provider recruitment for Memorial Hermann. This position is responsible for provider candidate identification and facilitating their interviews with the respective staff utilizing a variety of recruiting sources in support of Memorial Hermann's talent acquisition process. This includes managing projects related to the physician recruitment and outreach, candidates travel and interview scheduling. Positively contributes to the physician hire and on-boarding experience. Creates internal processes for physician recruitment and looks for and executes process improvement. Provider's expertise and supports recruiting process improvement. Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned provider positions for the Physician Organization.
