As a Team Supervisor based in Bedford , youll be responsible for: Assisting the Branch Manager with the day to day running and operations within the branch and take charge when they are not available Supervise and support colleagues, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve targets and goals Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge Develop the customer base, improve retention, satisfaction, product mix and range Identify and recommend ways to improve profits Building rapport with suppliers General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders (this will involve manual handling heavy stock i.e., toilets, sinks, boilers and radiators Ensure compliance with policies and procedures This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm. And heres what wed like you to have to be a successful Team Supervisor. Previous industry or merchant experience is preferable Prior experience in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment is essential Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Managers absence Someone who is comfortable making outbound sales calls to customers To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic We look forward to receiving your application! #ACHS150
