Role Summary The Manager, Software Engineering leads multiple developers across delivery pods with accountability for both technical excellence and team health. This role owns the architectural integrity of solutions across teams, removes engineering blockers, and ensures delivery meets quality and timeline commitments. The Manager is equally responsible for growing a high-performing team and maintaining the trust of clients and internal stakeholders through transparent, reliable execution. This role requires a certain level of in-office presence, based out of our Toronto or Calgary office locations. Responsible AI (RAI) AltaML employees, contractors, and associates must be trained and well-versed in the importance of Responsible AI and empowered to enact RAI principles by developing and deploying AI solutions. They should also be empowered to raise and escalate RAI concerns as required.
