System Architect

About the role

-Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or Computer science -10+ years of experience in design and implementation of enterprise systems in banking domain, preferably private banking/wealth management -Knowledge of architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachmann -Strong collaboration skills across hierarchy levels and organizational boundaries -Very good knowledge and experience in modern web technologies -Proficiency in enterprise technologies such as Java EE, spring boot, databases like Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL, integration technologies like IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, event streaming platform like Apache Kafka -Domain Knowledge on Financial / Capital Markets is a plus. -Knowledge on Data Policy and Standards: Establishing data policies and standards to align with business objectives and technological capabilities is good to have -Experience in implementing cloud native applications -Experience in implementing DevOps principles in the organisation -Experience in implementing Machine Learning based solutions is good to have -Able to explain designs and solutions to developers and business users alike -Strong leadership skills in matrix organizational setup, ability to lead, mentor and coach team members and developers. -Passionate and efficient self-learner in order to adopt new technologies and methodologies to create business value
