Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations.
- Assist Journeymen with the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance on, repairs to, and/or installation of equipment as directed.
- Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform maintenance duties.
- Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules.
- Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures.
- Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam.
- Previous relevant electrical experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic
- Knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code.
- Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside.
- Able to rotate to different shifts and work overtime as needed.
