In this new role, as a Senior Consultant, and integrator of corporate governance, process transformation, performance management, technology implementation and business strategy, our Finance Effectiveness professionals work with our clients' finance executives to optimize shareholder value and transform the finance function. To be successful, you will: Work collaboratively in teams to analyze client issues and interview key personnel. Develop recommendations and presentations for client engagements. Support teams in delivering value to clients across a wide variety of projects. Typical projects include: finance process design, system design and implementation, operating model design, amongst others. Identify issues, define symptoms, and recommend solutions. Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting. How do we define success for your role? An accounting designation (CPA) or relevant master's degree is preferred. 5-7 years of relevant work experience in finance or consulting. Deep expertise in financial management disciplines, such as financial process design, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, financial performance management, analytics and data modelling, and business case development. Experience with, or interest in, acquiring knowledge of systems and technologies that support the finance function, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, SAP, Oracle, Blackline, Workiva, etc. Strong commitment to professional client service excellence. Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions. Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. Canadian travel required; occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.
