Responsibilities

  • Independently own analytical projects that entail detailed analysis of territory and retention data to maximize revenue and margin.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years' experience in management consulting, internal consulting, analytics, or strategy & operations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, etc. Analytical skills include running regression analysis, modeling scenarios, testing hypotheses, working with non-conforming data sets, and generating analytical insights.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills to enable direct and frequent conversations with senior leaders in Gartner (VP/RVP/SVP/GVP level).
  • Demonstrated ability to form relationships with and influence senior leaders.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and independently own projects from start to finish.
  • Data storytelling and presentation skills. Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Original/creative thinking and superior problem-solving abilities.
  • Work experience related to building business recommendations, business consulting, services operations, services analytics, business analytics, business excellence or operations consulting role is a plus.

About this role: This role is part of the Territory Planning & Analytics (TP&A) team in Global Sales and Services Operations (GSSO). The TP&A team is focused on designing the optimal territory investment, design and alignment strategy to maximize Sales and Services productivity. This role will partner with corporate and senior Sales and Services leaders to ensure the best return on the company's substantial investment globally. The team serves as an internal consulting team for salesforce growth strategy, go-to-market strategy, market opportunity assessment, and the design of Sales and Services territories.
