About the Position: This position is located in Alexandria, VA- Headquarters office, the Director office of the General Counsel. Currently have a first professional law degree (LL.B or J.D) Currently have active membership in the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia and are permitted to engage in the active practice of law. Have professional legal experience in excess of 3 years that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position. Currently have a license to practice law from at least one State, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. commonwealth or U.S. territory. Able to self-certify active status with your licensing authority. Will need to provide the required information for each jurisdiction in which you are licensed in to include:(a) Name of attorney and contact information.(b) Date of self-certification.(c) Name of licensing jurisdiction.(d) License number.(e) Status of license.(f) Contact information for licensing authority. Bar Membership: You must currently be a member in good standing of the bar of a State, Territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
