Maintenance Generalist 1st Shift Cullman Blend Mill

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
• Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed. Follow instructions and communicate effectively. Work at heights.
• External Requirements:
• Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills for training purposes. Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

This role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Food's policies and procedures. This position is cross-trained across all production job duties.
