Manufacturing Product Quality Engineer

You will be the technical authority for lot disposition and risk analysis, bridging the gap between raw manufacturing data and strategic quality targets. You will have the autonomy to design advanced analytical models and lead cross-functional teams to minimize scrap, optimize yield, and ensure that only the highest quality products reach our global customers.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Governance & Disposition: Develop and implement methodologies for wafer map review and lot assessment. You will serve as the final engineering approval authority for Probe Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and establish robust disposition standards aligned with quality targets.
• Risk & Hold Management: Lead risk analysis frameworks and define hold lot management protocols. You will drive cross-functional coordination and escalation management to ensure the rapid and safe release of material.
• Root Cause & Corrective Action: Lead investigations for customer complaints and manufacturing excursions. Leveraging advanced data analytics, you will deliver effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce scrap losses.
• Data Analytics & Automation: Design and execute predictive analytics models to identify electrical failure sources. You will automate and present comprehensive performance dashboards to management to guide strategic decision-making.
• Operational Excellence: Champion initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen, integrating engineering innovation into our operational workflows. You will define and track annual engineering KPIs to align tactical execution with long-term corporate objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers, ensuring sustaining activities are executed with technical rigor while fostering continuous skill development.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Advanced Engineering Expertise: Significant experience in Product, Yield, or Process Engineering within a semiconductor environment, with a deep understanding of wafer probe and assembly/test operations.
• Analytical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in statistical data analysis, yield management systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., JMP, SQL, Tableau).
• Decision-Making Authority: Proven experience in risk assessment and the ability to make high-stakes technical dispositions under pressure.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong facilitation skills for leading cross-functional teams and the ability to present complex technical findings to executive leadership.
