Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, workplace policies, and other labor and employment-related documents.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and related workplace compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of advising clients on employment litigation avoidance, workplace investigations, policy development, and risk management strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills.
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with employment litigation and multi-state compliance issues.
- SHRM, HRCI, or other relevant employment law or HR-related certifications are a plus.
