Position Title: Student Employee, Greenhouse/Outdoor Land Lab Assistant Job Description: Student Employee, Greenhouse/Outdoor Land Lab Assistant POSITION TITLE: Student Employee, Greenhouse/Outdoor Land Lab Assistant STATUS: Part time DEPARTMENT: Agriculture/Horticulture DIVISION: Academic Affairs REPORTS TO: Carmine Napolitano, Greenhouse Supervisor CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt HIRING RANGE : $15.00 per hour (Position is FWS Eligible) ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Irrigation of greenhouses and gardens including weekends. 2. Transplanting and propagating of collections and crops. 3. Plant sales, customer relations, money handling. 4. Maintenance: weeding, cleaning, installations, mulching, deliveries. 5. Record keeping of crops, deliveries, chemical applications. 6. Perform related duties as assigned.
