Requirements
- Related university degree or equivalent experience and four ‐ plus years ' experience OR six ‐ plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
- Ability to solve problems by applying standard procedures or methods developed through previous experience.
- Strong capacity to work independently, manage competing priorities and coordinate management of change activities related to training programs.
- Broad business and technical knowledge with strong project management skills, awareness of collaborators, and the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of the plan-do-check-act process as it applies to management systems.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred:
- Certificate in Adult or Continuing Education or another relevant professional certification; experience in training and competency development; classroom facilitation or Train the Trainer background.
- Familiarity with oil and gas pipeline operations.
- Working Conditions:
- This role is primarily office-based, with about 75% of time spent on training coordination responsibilities. It includes field work and travel within the region (20%) and occasional travel outside the region (5%).
- Physical Requirements:
- The job requires grasping, kneeling, lifting items up to 20 pounds, reaching overhead, repetitive movement, typing, sitting and standing. Visual skills include seeing screens, recognizing color codes, and reading fine print. Hearing and prolonged computer sitting are also necessary.
