Quality Control Technician

About the role

QualityControl Technician Our client isa MNC chemical manufacturer company. They are currently seeking for Quality Control Technician. The role ofthe Quality ControlTechnician includes: - Performed analytical testing on raw materials,intermediates, and production samples using laboratory instruments andestablished testing procedures. - Prepared and standardized chemical solutions,reagents, and reference materials required for routine quality controlactivities. - Monitored test results and promptly communicatedany deviations or out-of-specification findings to production and qualitypersonnel to facilitate timely corrective actions. - Evaluated incoming raw materials throughinspection and testing to verify compliance with quality requirements andsupport material release decisions. - Executed routine verification, calibration, andperformance checks of laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters,moisture analyzers, and other analytical instruments. - Operated, maintained, and troubleshot laboratoryequipment to ensure reliable performance and minimize operational downtime. - Coordinated equipment maintenance activities byreporting issues, tracking service requirements, and supporting repair workwhen necessary. - Assisted with the installation, qualification,relocation, and retirement of laboratory instruments and systems. - Prepared laboratory equipment for maintenance byimplementing lockout and isolation procedures to ensure safe workingconditions. - Participated in emergency preparedness exercisesand supported site safety initiatives. - Maintained laboratory housekeeping standards,ensuring work areas remained organized, compliant, and audit-ready. - Adhered to company policies related to safety,environmental protection, and quality management systems. - Supported continuous improvement efforts aimedat enhancing workplace safety, operational efficiency, product quality, andenvironmental performance. - Undertook additional laboratory andquality-related responsibilities as assigned by supervisory or qualitymanagement personnel. Job Requirement: - NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology with 2 years' working experience as Laboratory or Chemical Technician in a chemical industry.
