About the role
Tycho.AI is looking for an Electrical Engineer with specialization in board development and RF to join our hardware team and support the design and development of our air vehicles. Responsibilities

- Perform RF link budget and bandwidth analyses based on mission needs.
- Select components and design RF chain.
- Implement encoding and compression algorithms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
- Experience with Altium.
- Working knowledge of RF hardware: radios, software-defined radios, antennas, amplifiers, etc.
- Experience with RFD900's
- Working knowledge of compression algorithms and encoding methods.
- Willingness to perform field testing of RF components
- Experience with SDR
- Experience with GNSS
- Experience with FPGAs
- Experience with radars
- Experience with optical sensors
- Comfort with Jira
