About the role

Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly and effectively with listed entities and their advisers.
- Apply your experience and strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to advise and supervise a portfolio of listed entities. Oversee compliance by your listed entities with the Listing Rules and related requirements, and take action where appropriate.
- You will lead monitoring and enforcement actions in relation to a range of issues including continuous disclosure, capital raising and capital management, governance and integrity. You will also assess and advise on applications for admission to ASX's listed market.
- As a senior member of the team, contribute to our culture of insight, enquiry and proactivity, effective communication and record-keeping, and continuous development and improvement. Take an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Engage directly with ASIC as ASX's regulator and as a key stakeholder with a strong shared interest in market integrity and effective regulation.
- Learn new skills and collaborate with other teams within ASX Compliance including enforcement, admissions, investment products and the transformation and operational performance team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant industry or professional experience.
- Good problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyse and assess complex corporate structures, governance and transaction documents and financial and similar reports for compliance with requirements.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues simply and clearly.
- Enthusiasm and proactivity.
- A tertiary degree in law is an advantage. Strong candidates with tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting are also encouraged.
- Experience in capital markets and corporate governance is an advantage. Strong candidates with other backgrounds (such as financial markets regulation or litigation) are also encouraged.
- Good knowledge of the Listing Rules and Corporations Act and their application to listed entities is an advantage.
