Job Description Job Summary** As a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be a primary point of contact for our retail customers, responsible for understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, driving business growth while ensuring excellent service delivery. Job Responsibilities** * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail customers through effective communication and proactive engagement. * Identify customer financial needs through thorough needs analysis and propose appropriate banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance. * Achieve individual sales targets for various banking products and contribute to overall branch objectives. * Educate customers on UOB's digital banking platforms and encourage their adoption. * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to bank policies and procedures. * Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally and resolve them in a timely manner. * Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes relevant to retail banking. * Collaborate with other departments and specialists to provide comprehensive financial solutions to customers. * Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker or Relationship Manager. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships. * Strong understanding of retail banking products and services. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
