Team Lead - Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to the team, which includes work management, coaching, mentoring, performance management. Make sure service level agreement metrics is met at all times in terms of both accuracy and timeliness.
• Required Qualifications
• Relevant experience in the asset management or 3rd Party data platform industry for 5-7 year
• Strong understanding of and work experience in mutual fund investment accounting processes or shareholder reporting.
• At least 1 year experience of review of financial statements.
• Technical understanding of the investment industry, including a strong knowledge of SEC rules and GAAP Accounting standards.
• Degree in Finance and/or Accounting is mandatory.
• Strong work ethic with high standards for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to think strategically on a global level.

Requirements

• People management experience would be an added advantage.
• Experience with Invest One accounting system and Arc Reporting/FundSuite/Financial Reporting software a plus.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment to meet tight deadlines. Highly organized, motivated and self-directed.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work well with multiple business partners.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Provide supervision to the team, including leading, coaching, and mentoring. Also, be responsible for work allocation/management among team members and their performance management.
