About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Aquatics Center, Kirtland AFB, NM. This position will be filled as Flexible employment category; guarantees 00 hrs/week (may work up to 40 hrs/wk). This position is for a Summer Hire position NTE 120 Days after start date. Position requires current Lifeguard Certification (Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid) or obtain within 30 days of employment. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides a practical knowledge of swimming activities, rules and procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various pool and safety equipment is desirable. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, and push/pull 100 pounds. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
