About the role

This role's main target is to contribute to the Company's sales objectives. Responsibilities include building long-term client relationships. As Sales Manager for SEA, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Main duties include but is not limited to the following areas: Sales and Customer Relationship Management Independent customer and market responsibility Coordination of sales activities Prospect for new distribution business and grow existing distribution revenue Identification of new opportunities with product lines and markets Customer visits to identify key customer decision makers Understand respective distributor needs to leverage customer centric offering using Continental value-add solutions Strengthen and develop relationship with distributor and distributor's end customer as well as end users directly Joint call and visits with distributor and/or distributor's customers Train customers and distributors on value and solutions of Continental products Consulting and product receommendations with suppport from Application Engineering Analyse and track product performance using Continental tools and completion of basic conveyor inspections and reports Product Performance feedback, including logging information into Salesforce Quote Management (coordination & submission of RFQ to the customer, quotations follow up) Negotiation of Contracts and Orders Contract management Sales & Commercial Planning Maintain accurate customer and competitor pricing information Provide monthly feedback to pricing team for order Win/Loss, including related pricing levels Marketing / Communication Organize promotional activities for the customer and distributor Participation at exhibitions New Product Launch Work with Key Account managers to help promote sales of all products Support customer surveys Finance Support Budget definition process Resolve payment delays or issues to reduce account receivable outstanding Customer Services Support accurate data records in ERP (SAP) Claim & complaint management Monitor customer back orders Quality Assure standards and quality guidelines (internal and external), quality awareness, customer quality targets Secure the Continental Code of Conduct and Compliance to all legal requirement
