USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The CMMC Compliance Support Specialist supports organizational efforts to prepare for compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 requirements and associated NIST SP 800-171 controls. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work across technical and administrative teams to curate accurate and assessment-ready compliance artifacts. Duties/Responsibilities: Documentation Development and Maintenance Edit, format, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and related governance documentation. Assist with the development and maintenance of the System Security Plan (SSP). Ensure consistency, traceability, and version control across compliance documentation. Support updates to Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), inventories, diagrams, and supporting artifacts. CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 Compliance Support Assist with organizing and mapping evidence to applicable CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 requirements. Gather, review, and curate assessment evidence including screenshots, configuration exports, logs, training records, policies, and technical documentation. Maintain organized repositories of compliance evidence and supporting materials. Assist in preparing documentation packages for internal reviews and third-party assessments. Coordination and Analysis Coordinate with technical staff, system owners, and management personnel to collect required compliance information. Review documentation for completeness, consistency, and alignment with compliance objectives. Identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and missing evidence items. Track action items, document revisions, and evidence collection status. Administrative and Organizational Support: Maintain document libraries, file structures, and version-controlled repositories. Support meeting preparation, note-taking, and action-item tracking for compliance initiatives. Assist in maintaining compliance schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
