Job Description Summary As a Field Service Engineer for GE HealthCare you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external customers. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Install GE HealthCare medical equipment in a high quality, professional manner with strong attention to detail in accordance with the company standards, compliance standards and customer requirements. Perform preventative maintenance on Ultrasound and Patient Care Systems including Patient Monitoring, Anaesthesia, Maternal Infant Care, Telemetry & Diagnosic Cardiology. Make corrective repairs to Ultrasound and PCS Equipment. Ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMI's), meeting all documentation and reporting obligations. Escalate missed response times and flag repeated faults to Senior Field Engineer and Service Manager The Field Service Engineer must work collaboratively with GE Healthcare Online Engineers, Regional Support Engineers and Senior Field Engineers to resolve customer issues as quickly as possible. Keep management and commercial account managers fully aware of all developments in the installed base. Manage time appropriately based on job urgency, part availability, and customer expectations Continuous learning mindset with the goal of proficiency in multiple modalities. Qualifications and Experience Biomedical Engineering / Electronic Engineering, Electronics Technician or equivalent electrical trade qualifications will be highly regarded. Experience working on Ultrasound, Life Support & Patient Care Equipment is preferred The role will have a strong focus on medical IT systems. Skills in computer hardware, operating systems, TCP/IP, WIFI and medical networks is preferred.
