About the role

Job descriptions Identify Top Producing Accounts ensure proper recognition by Reservation staff Follow up on tentative sales bookings with respective Sales Manager to update status. Ensure group files are accurate and kept current and requirements are entered accurately from the sales booking sheet. Ensure group room blocks are released to general inventory after group's cut-off dates or cancellation. Ensure rooming lists are input accurately into the PMS system. Follow up on any no-show from group bookings and liaise with respective Sales Manager on the non-arrival charges. Monitor and coordinate with sales department on close-out for agent freesale and allotment. Monitor daily reservation activities and communicate status with the team and training for staff Assist to manage and guide Reservations staff in performing all job functions; good product knowledge, upselling. Observes and ensures that proper telephone manners are maintained at all times Maintain a very good reputation for the Hotel and assist to increase the overall profitability of the Hotel. Supervise the confirmation of Hotel Reservations via e-mail within 24 hours of receipt. Check arrival lists, special filling arrangements, meal plan codes follow-up report and update correct input of market segment, rates and special arrangement, VIP etc daily. Ensure close follow-up on pre-payment for travel agents/company without credit facilities. Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures. Other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management Job Requirements At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity Requires self-initiative, analytical skills, proficiency in technical areas and customer relations. Requires good time management, organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
