Commercial Waste Operator

Responsibilities

• Collect commercial, domestic and litter waste
• Operate waste vehicles safely and efficiently
• Complete scheduled runs using maps and sheets
• Conduct vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate daily work and service records
• Support team with additional collection requirements
• Provide high-quality customer service interactions
• Participate in rotating Saturday collection roster

Requirements

• We're looking for a safety-focused operator who enjoys working independently and as part of a team. You'll ideally bring:
• HR class driver licence (essential)
• Experience driving rear loader waste trucks
• Strong commitment to workplace safety practices
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Clear communication and radio operation skills
• Experience in busy urban driving environments
• Clean driving and safety record history
• Valid National Police Clearance
