Learn more at www.hbfuller.com . Primary Responsibilities Import & Export Operations Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (air, ocean, ground). Prepare/review commercial documents (invoices, packing lists, COO, shipping docs). Ensure correct tariff classification, customs valuation, and regulatory compliance. Work with customs brokers for timely clearance and resolve delays or documentation issues. Monitor shipment status and address risks proactively. Compliance & Regulatory Management Maintain compliance with Mexican Customs Law, RGCE, and international trade regulations. Keep updated on tariff changes, sanctions, export controls, and forced‑labor regulations. Maintain accurate records per corporate/local retention rules. Support internal/external audits related to customs and trade compliance. Logistics Coordination Schedule transportation with carriers/forwarders, optimizing cost and transit. Track logistics KPIs and evaluate freight performance. Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Planning to support supply continuity. Documentation & Data Management Maintain shipment logs, customs entries, and KPI databases. Validate accuracy of supplier and customer shipping documents. Ensure consistency between ERP data, broker entries, and physical/digital files. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Communicate shipment status, risks, and corrective actions to stakeholders. Work with suppliers to obtain documentation and resolve logistics issues. Support Finance with freight invoice validation and landed cost reviews. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 2+ years of import/export experience in manufacturing. Knowledge of Mexican customs procedures, HS codes, and global shipping documents. Experience coordinating air/ocean/ground freight and working with brokers/forwarders. Strong Spanish and intermediate-advanced English. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle). High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
