You can learn more about HARP and our work at our website . The Opportunity HARP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program and Operations Assistant to support the needs of our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the work of this core team member will be essential to keeping HARP's programs, processes, and schedules running smoothly. Responsibilities Scheduling Manage the schedule of HARP Executive Director and other executive team members Coordinate meetings for HARP team members, key consultants, and advisory bodies Meetings & Events Take meeting notes and tracking key follow up items Manage logistics for in person and virtual meetings and events Support travel planning for HARP team members, including booking of air travel and hotel accommodations and supporting submission of expense report Internal and External Communication Support onboarding of new vendors, consultants, and staff Communicate with HARP's Board of Directors and Advisory Committee as well as external partners and stakeholders Operations Maintain organizational documents (e.g. charters, organization charts, etc.) Manage internal project management and tracking tools (e.g. contact lists and tools for tracking key conferences, events, and accomplishments) Support development and implementation of operational policies and procedures Other administrative support as needed Qualifications and Experience 3+ years of experience working in an administrative or operations capacity; nonprofit, policy, or government experience required Outstanding organizational skills and a track record of working independently on projects while supporting team projects and collaborative work Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficient with Google suite, Microsoft office, Zoom, and LinkedIn Experience with Asana or similar project management tools Ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders including senior-level professionals, national experts, policymakers with a range of political perspectives, people who have been incarcerated and staff who have worked in corrections, among others, with a high level of professionalism. Interest and/or experience, including lived expertise, in policy related to incarceration, corrections, public safety, and/or the role health care plays for people who are leaving incarceration Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, growth-oriented, remote work environment Ability to travel for occasional in-person staff meetings HARP is a small, but growing, team that values team members who: Are organized, detail oriented, results-focused and thrive in a work culture that prioritizes growth and learning. Pay & Benefits $55,000-70,000 commensurate with experience and may be adjusted based on the candidate's location.
