About the role
The Global ESS Sales Operations Manager / Associate Manager will act as a key business partner for Global ESS Sales Operations, supporting revenue forecast discipline and end-to-end operational governance across GCR, JP, KR, and SEA. Responsibilities
- Revenue Forecast & Management Reporting
- Support weekly and monthly tracking of target attainment, backlog status, pipeline movement, renewal progress, and revenue realization.
- Review forecast assumptions, close dates, activation dates, deal stages, and pipeline hygiene to improve forecast accuracy.
- Prepare regional and global business updates, deal risk summaries, forecast variance analysis, and management reporting materials.
- Track renewal, upsell, downgrade, churn, and activation risks to support leadership decision-making.
- Operation Governance & Deal Review
- Own first-level deal review for New, Upsell, Renewal, Downgrade, Churn, and special pricing cases.
- Review Salesforce opportunity data, including MRR, ACV, product scope, contract period, activation date, billing terms, discount rate, and approval status.
- Drive Salesforce data hygiene by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to clean, validate, and maintain CRM data, ensuring data accuracy and reliable reporting output.
- Validate pricing structure, discount level, margin status, approval path, and required supporting evidence.
- Identify low-margin deals, pricing exceptions, special terms, and contract risks; prepare escalation summaries for management review.
- Ensure operational consistency across regions while maintaining flexibility for region-specific commercial needs.
- Contract Readiness & Cross-functional Coordination
- Ensure alignment among Salesforce data, approved commercial terms, service scope, report logic, and financial reporting before contract issuance.
- Coordinate with Sales, CSM, Legal, Finance, Product, Strategy, and MIS teams to resolve deal blockers and execution risks.
- Track pending approvals, missing information, contract review status, and operational blockers to support timely deal closure.
- AI-enabled and Continuously Evolving Sales Operations
- Leverage AI tools to improve Sales Operations efficiency, including SFDC data validation, forecast summary generation, pricing case comparison, meeting preparation, documentation, and recurring issue analysis.
- Use AI tools to identify operational blind spots, summarize case history, compare similar deal structures, and improve quality control before management escalation.
- Develop AI-enabled workflows and checklists to reduce manual work while keeping Sales Operations processes aligned with evolving products, business models, and governance requirements.
- Dynamically track product changes, pricing model updates, service scope adjustments, and system workflow changes to ensure Operation processes remain up to date and continuously optimized.

- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Business Operations, Commercial Operations, or Business Intelligence.
- Experience in SaaS, subscription business, B2B software, or enterprise technology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of revenue operations, including MRR, ACV, renewal, upsell, discount, contract term, approval workflow, and forecast governance.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify commercial risks and operational inconsistencies.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, Customer Success, Strategy, and MIS teams.
- Familiar with Salesforce and comfortable working with CRM data, reports, dashboards, approval processes, and CRM data hygiene.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, data validation, documentation, business review preparation, and process optimization.
- Effective, clear, and concise communication skills in both written and verbal communication.
- Business English capability is required; Japanese or Korean language capability is a plus.
