About the role
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Tireperson is responsible for repairing, performing tire assessments, and mounting and demounting heavy industrial tires. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary. Requirements
- High School Diploma, General Education Development, or five years related work experience
- Valid driver's license
- Qualified Tireperson
- Tire Industry Association Certification (Off the Road/Earthmover Training)
- Experience working on heavy mobile equipment
- Experience working with mining equipment is an asset
- Proficient in repair and installation of tires for heavy and industrial equipment
- Knowledge on how to operate tire mounting machinery and equipment
