About the role
[What the role is] We seek a product manager/assistant product manager to join the core product team of SLA's flagship digital transformation project. The successful candidate will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a digital portal aimed at transforming the conveyancing industry. This role involves close collaboration with vendors, private and public ecosystem stakeholders, and SLA senior management. [What you will be working on] 1. Data collection and knowledge base development Staff will work with department to identify, collect, and consolidate data sources required to power AI engines. This includes structured data and unstructured content such as SOPs, FAQs, policy documents, and legal references. He will design and implement appropriate database schemas and pipelines to ensure data is clean, well-labelled, and optimised for AI consumption. To enable accurate and context-aware LLM responses, he may apply techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), covering document chunking, embedding generation, and vector database setup, as well as knowledge graph construction. 2. AI tools development Staff will work with team to design, build, and iterate on AI-powered tools supporting departmental workflows, including: (i) User Story Review Tool: Analyses user stories and provides structured feedback on completeness, clarity, and alignment with acceptance criteria. (ii) Test Case/Scenario Composition Tool: Automatically drafts test cases and scenarios from user stories, requirements, or functional specifications. (iii) FAQ Bot: Generate FAQ dataset to feed VICA from unstructured database and actual questions. (iv) GenAI Recommendation Tool for Lawyers: Automates form filling for legal professionals using structured and unstructured data. 3. Building AI platform beyond standard AI tools The staff member will run structured POC experiments to identify limitations of existing tools such as Pair and AIBot, and explore solutions in two key areas: (i) Knowledge Database Size: Test configuration limits, identify performance degradation points, and explore native GCC AWS solutions to overcome size constraints. (ii) Multi-Agent Collaboration: Design and test multi-agent systems where specialised agents (e.g., CPF expert, finance expert, solicitor, registration officer) work in concert, documenting orchestration approaches, failure modes, and production-ready architectures. [What we are looking for] Qualification in the relevant disciplines (Computer Science, Business analysis, Information Technology and IT Product Management) Experience in product management or business analysis or change management Strong analytical skills with experience in user research, data analysis, and translating insights into actionable product decisions Exceptional communication skills, able to deliver results through close collaboration and partnership with external and internal parties Team player with self-motivation, proactivity, and adaptability to rapid changes Disciplined, focused, and capable of working independently when necessary Quick learner, willing to acquire new knowledge in conveyancing processes, IT systems, and digitalisation Experience with agile development process (preferred) Understanding of the Singapore conveyancing process (preferred)
