Commercial Executive-Subcontracting (Marine)

Responsibilities

• To obtain techno-commercial proposals and assist in tender clarifications and negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements in line with project specifications and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor costs and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Assist in cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Carry out subcontractor performance measurement, including the adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Prepare periodic reports on subcontract performance and compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Strong techno-commercial background, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in subcontract management in ship building, ship repair or marine industry.
• Familiar with bidding and tender protocols
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Candidates with experience will be considered for senior role.
• Other Information:
• Location: 16 Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm

Purpose of Role: As a Senior Executive in the Subcontracts Department, you'll drive impactful subcontract strategies, managing agreements to ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations and company policies. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to achieve timely and cost-effective delivery, all while maintaining uncompromised quality and safety standards.
