Professional Procurement Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Ensure product availability in stock through a seamless supply chain on assigned suppliers and product categories.
• Ensure the purchase orders are placed and fulfilled.
• Confirm shipments and process deliveries.
• Provide documentary support for orders and deliveries.
• Communicate and coordinate production and shipment priorities.
• Manage and oversee multimodal delivery channels.
• Develop partnerships with factories and forwarders, broadcasting the company's interests.
• Contribute to the process improvement.
• Hard Skills Required:
• Completed higher education, preferably majoring in purchasing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge and 2+ years of relevant experience in international purchasing and/or international transportation logistics (transportation company, retail, wholesale or manufacturing).
• Experience of working with foreign suppliers and/or forwarders.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, purchasing and transport documentation.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain fundamentals (criteria for evaluating chain reliability, difference between buffer and transit section of the chain, principles of "pull" systems).
• Soft Skills Required:
• Good knowledge of Excel and Google sheets, knowledge of LOOKUP function, pivot tables is required.
• Language skills: Russian = fluent, English = B1+ (Intermediate and higher, primarily reading & writing skills with the help of online translators), Chinese = optional.
• Ability to investigate the deviations in the work processes in their area of responsibility, resolve disputes independently or escalate them to the manager.
• Basic systems thinking and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resourcefulness, autonomy.
