About the role

As Project Engineer - Order Execution, you will be single point of contact to Schneider Electric's field representatives, responsible for ensuring execution from order opportunity thru hand off to services while providing updates based on information from multiple departments at plant. You will work collaboratively with both field and plant teams to identify and mitigate all execution risks while supporting margin attainment. What will you do? - Proactively and consistently communicate directly with field representatives on regular basis to inform and mitigate any execution barriers to order fulfillment with full compliance with Customer Project Plan (CPP). - Coordinate meetings with plant stakeholders to track progress of order fulfillment thru scheduling, engineering, procurement, kitting, assembly, test and pack-out of order. - Identify, mitigate, log and track execution and cost risks throughout duration of project. - Proactively work with plant flow controllers as well as engineering to resolve long lead time and or missing parts via ship shorts, part substitutions and deviations that are acceptable to customer. - Review customer change orders to define and communicate impact on schedule and cost impact, providing input to pricing team. - Coordinate any witness testing that is required. Plant Customer Order Project Manager What qualifications will make you successful? - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field - Basic understanding of CPP as well as how order progresses thru gates at manufacturing plant: scheduling, approvals, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing and pack- out for shipment. - In-depth Project Management knowledge & skills. - Previous experience working with ETO (engineer to order) products and familiarity with different types of applications and complexity features related to ETO products, including determining and communicating barriers & risks. - Experience pro-actively identifying execution risks to on-time delivery of order throughout fulfillment process of order life cycle. - Technical knowledge of core gear components such as circuit breakers, electrical components, bussing, and structure are required. Ideal candidates would have deeper understanding of electrical and mechanical elements of design and build of gear. - Ability to work with tendering and sales to define standard applications and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to further standardize the electrical and mechanical BOM. - Experience with ERP/SAP & Symmetry are required Ready to lead projects that matter? For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
